Lose 200kg or die

At 44, Sydney small business owner Jordan Tirekidis weighed more than 300kg. He wore custom-made 12XL clothes and could only stand for short periods of time.

Breakfast was 10 hash browns and two large coffees. Lunch was two Big Macs with fries, and dinner was often four Whoppers, washed down with almost a litre of Coke. He had tried scores of diets and an exercise regime, and nothing had worked.

“I have to do something about it because it's getting to me and I didn't want to die sitting in a chair.”

Changing the mind first

As a last resort, Jordan turned to Mark. Together with a team of fitness experts and nutritionists, Mark used hypnosis to change the way Jordan felt about the foods that were hurting him.

“I'll make sure Jordan never, ever, ever wants to touch a custard tart and a lamington again.”

Over the following years, Jordan released a staggering 207 kilos using the power of his own mind. It set an Australian weight loss record for any method.

Breaking the chocolate habit

Aussie mum Luana was eating three family-sized blocks of chocolate a day. She knew it was hurting her health, but she couldn't stop.

She turned to Mark, a habit-breaking specialist. Through hypnosis, Mark helped her change how she felt about chocolate, so the cravings lost their pull.

Luana went on to lose 40 kilos, and her life has been transformed.

Pain free

Chloe

At 14, Chloe had battled for years with complex regional pain syndrome, a condition that causes severe, ongoing pain. After working with Mark, she turned to her mum and said, “Mum, the pain's gone.”

Years later she still has the condition, but not the pain. She keeps it that way with self-hypnosis sessions morning and night. Her story was featured on A Current Affair.

Everyone is different, and results vary from person to person.
